Palingual Center’s First Annual Chess Championship 2025
The senior category (ages 12-16) and the junior category (ages 12 and under).
Thirty-six players from the Bethlehem Governorate participated in the tournament, which featured intense competition.
The tournament was held using the Swiss system over seven rounds.
The winners in the senior category were:
First place: Karam Al-Harimi
Second place: Michael Jarad
Third place: Yaqoub Mitri
The winners in the junior category were:
First place: Luay Musad, the youngest player
Second place: Laith Rashmawi
Third place: Tim Subaih
We thank everyone who contributed to the success of the tournament, especially International Coach Fadi Qassis and Referee Shahd Al-Hindi. We also thank the Ghiras Center for their cooperation.
